The conditions on a normal construction site form the basis for the criteria with which we work. At Nexans, we endeavour to make the everyday lives of our customers easier. That is why we have produced a number of packages. Certain criteria must still be met and packaging must be easy to carry and transport. It should also be made of material that can withstand dirt and moisture and can be recycled.

Packaging advantages

At first glance, it may look like a regular box but don't be fooled. There is a lot of thought and consideration that goes into incorporating a lot of practical properties into our packaging, including:

• Integrated and grip friendly handles facilitate ergonomics and ease of transportation. 
• Stable construction in strong cardboard, treated to withstand tough handling and moisture.
• Opening that can be reseale meaning that the cable stays in place and doesn't get dirty.
• Easy to stack (saves space) and is stable during transportation in a vehicle.
• Clear labelling and information.
• 100 per cent recyclable

The cable car that makes the work of an installer faster and safer.

We strive to constantly develop solutions that make the work of an installer easier and have developed Cable Walker™ - a cable car for transportation and unwinding of cables from plastic bobbins and plywood drums.

Cable Guy makes your work smoother

Cable Guy is a packaging alternative for installation cable that offers the installer easy and fast transportation and handling during installation work to save both time and money.

With Nexans Cable Guy, the cables are transported wound on a bobbin that rotates inside a box - a package that makes extraction and assembly easy and protects the still unused cable. A metre mark also indicates how much cable is left.

An empty Cable Guy is easy to recycle and is treated as ordinary cardboard waste.
