Nexans Sweden is environmentally certified according to ISO 14001, which shows that our company lives up to concrete and recognized environmental requirements. These environmental requirements are collected and communicated in our environmental management system.

Within the Nexan Group, we also have an internal environmental standard and certification, EHP, Highly Protected Environment.

• REACH - Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals
  The REACH candidate list lists 200 particularly dangerous substances. None of the products manufactured at Nexans contain any of these. The list of candidates is updated approximately twice a year and new topics can then be added to the list. Ever since the 1980s, we have regularly worked to substitute hazardous substances in our products, which means that we have had time to phase out substances that appear in REACH's candidate list even before the substances are listed there.
   
• RoHS - Restriction of Hazardous Substances
  All cables marketed by Nexans Sweden meet the requirements of the RoHS directive. RoHS formulates restrictions on certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products.
