DESCRIPTION

Design

1. Conductor Plain solid copper.
2. Insulation Coloured cellular polyethylene.
3. Cable element Insulated conductors twisted to pairs.
4. Lay-up Cables are built up of 10-pair units. (5-pair cable: 5-pair unit). Cable lay-up and colour according to "Lay-up and colour scheme for telecom and data cables", section 1. The interstices of the cable core are petroleum jelly filled.
5. Wrapping Cellulose paper, swellable and/or non woven fibre tape.
6. Screen Lengthwise Al/PE tape (0.15/0.04 mm) which is bonded to the outer extruded sheath. Beneath the Al/PE tape, there are two lengthwise tinned copper drain wires as connecting wires.
7. Sheath Orange, weather-resistant polyethylene. Dimensions and weights according to Product Characteristics. The sheath is marked with e.g. "DK-EUALEV-S 10x2x0.5 NEXANS GS" year month + metre marking".
